Well the newest update is…

WE HAD A BABY!

That's right, Amilia was born Tuesday the 17th of June @ 5:33am, 9lbs, 21” long, Brown Hair, & Dark Blue Eyes.

I went into labor on Sunday night and went to the hospital late Monday afternoon. Everything was going well, by 9pm I was dilated to 5” and my water broke, the doctor said we were on track to have her between 1-3am. Between 9pm and 4am I didn’t dilate any further. The doctor determined it was an “arrested labor” and so I had to have a c-section.

But all is well; Amilia’s healthy and so am I, even though I’m just a little sore. We came home on Friday afternoon & she has been an angel all weekend. My mom’s been here since the 2nd & has been a great help this week with Amilia.

It was awesome to have Nick’s family also came up to see her. Nick’s mom, Mari drove up Tuesday morning to see her new grand baby & left later that night. Nick’s dad, Warren & his wife Marie drove up on Thursday & left Friday morning. Nick’s sister, Megan (Moe) drove up on Saturday for the weekend to help out. Mari also came back up Saturday with her husband Jim for the day.

Nick and I have been so happy & loving every minute we have with this precious little girl.
I’ve attached a few pictures of her & us so you can see what she looks like. Ok so I couldn’t just pick a few because she’s so darn cute you got 22. ;-)

~Just a CRAZY guess on the gender and names, so who knows maybe I'll have guessed right. And I would like it noted that I tried to include seconds in the time but it would not let me. So the time of birth would be 14:28:23 ;)

Hi All!!

Well today we are 37wks along & doing well. She still loves to move around a lot, but I love it, all thou she has a tendency to still kick me in the right side of my ribs but that’s ok only a few more weeks to go.
We have started to set up the Nursery, well it's coming together anyway. We are just getting so excited to meet her.
We have finally come up with a name for her! Hip-hip-her-ray! What we were looking for was a name which she could have a few nicknames & a professional name. So her whole name will be spelled:

“Amilia Rose Mari Borchert”

And if you were wondering about the two middle names, well it’s kind of a neat story.
In my family my parents named us kids after our grandparents. My older sister got her first name from our mother’s mother & her middle name after our father’s mother. My first name was after our mother’s father’s mother & my middle name was after our father’s father’s mother. And my younger brother got his first name from our father’s father & his middle from our mother’s father. So I wanted to fallow that with our children.
Nick on the other hand has two middles name after both of his grandfathers and his first name, being a name of his own. And I like that as well. So we are combining both styles.
We decided on “Amilia” after Amelia Earhart because she was just a neat woman, we just spelled it a little different. “Rose” is after my mother & “Mari” after Nick’s mother.
